Students will develop knowledge and skills in a wide range of scientific principles, including genetics, anatomy, physiology, nutrition, disease, reproduction, and management practices. Students will have a better understanding of the livestock and meat industries and will be better prepared to understand modern day agricultural issues. This course is highly recommended for those wanting to move on the veterinary program at the JATC. There is no need for prior animal or agriculture experience.
