Do you need a class where you can get your hands dirty and learn a new skill? This course prepare individuals to use power tools and machinery. This is an activity-oriented course open to all students that covers the fundamentals of woodworking. Students receive instruction related to safety, proper use of tools, operation of woodworking equipment, joinery, wood finishing, and the many processes used to transform lumber into finished products. Student projects are an important part of the course. This course prepares students for advanced woodworking courses.
